Make and receive payments

Use your Business Account details to add funds, make payments and receive payments.

  • How do I transfer funds to my Business Account?

    To add funds to your Business Account, initiate a transfer from an external account using the BSB and account number shown in Shift Online.

    Funds cannot currently be added to a Business Account using the Transfer funds section in Shift Online.

    Please allow 1–3 business days for funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank.

  • Who can view or transact on the account?

    People who already have access to your Shift Online profile can view the Business Account. Only Directors of the business can transfer funds and make payments.

  • How do I pay someone?

    Make a payment from your Business Account at any time in Shift Online, using the instructions below.

    1. Log in to Shift Online and select your Business Account.

    2. Select Pay someone.

    3. Enter the recipient’s BSB and account number, then follow the prompts.

  • How do I receive payments?

    Provide your account name, BSB and account number to the person or business paying you.
