Open a Business Account

Find out who can open a Business Account and how to complete the process in Shift Online. You can also learn which product documents to review before opening your account.

  • Who can open a Business Account?

Right now, the Business Account is only available to a small group of existing Shift customers.

You’ll receive an email and SMS from us if you’re eligible to open a Business Account. You’ll also see an option to open it when you log in to Shift Online. The Business Account will become available to other eligible customers in the future, and we’ll update our website when this occurs.

  • How do I open a Business Account?

Log in to Shift Online. If you’re eligible, the Business Account will appear on your home dashboard as a new product option. Select it to review the product information and documents, accept the relevant terms and complete the prompts.

  • Do I need to be credit assessed to open a Business Account?

No. Credit assessment is not required to open a Business Account. We recommend seeking financial advice and considering the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) before deciding whether the product is right for you. A Target Market Determination is also available, which defines the class of customers for whom the Business Account is likely to be consistent with their objectives, financial situation and needs.
